An IPTV subscription made for IPTV Smarters Pro
IPTV Smarters Pro needs a subscription before it shows anything, because the app is only a player. Ours signs in with the Xtream login Smarters asks for, on every device it runs on.

An IPTV Smarters Pro subscription, in practice, is a TV service login that the Smarters app accepts. The app arrives empty; our login fills it with 25,000+ live channels and 120,000+ films and series, on a Firestick, an Android phone or TV box, a Windows PC, or an iPhone or iPad. Below: what the app is, how to sign in field by field, and the mistakes that stop it loading.
What IPTV Smarters Pro is, and what it is not
IPTV Smarters Pro is a player made by an independent developer. It sorts live TV, films, series and a TV guide into tidy sections, but it carries no channels of its own and its developer does not sell any. Open it without a login and you see a sign-in screen and nothing else.
What you buy from us is everything behind the login: the channels, the library, the guide and the servers they stream from. There is no IPTV UK Station app either. You install Smarters, or another player if you prefer, and type in the details we send on WhatsApp.
A website or listing that offers a Smarters subscription with channels built in is a separate seller using the app’s name. The app’s developer does not sell channels, so always check who you are actually paying.
What our subscription opens in the Smarters app
- Live TV: 25,000+ channels, with UK entertainment, news, documentary, film, kids and sport groups at the top and international groups from 60+ countries below.
- Movies and Series: 120,000+ titles, sorted into categories in their own sections of the app.
- TV guide: now-and-next and the full grid, loaded through the Xtream login.
- Catch-up: programmes that already aired, on the channels that keep an archive.
- Picture: 4K where the source is 4K, otherwise FHD or HD.
Plans start at £15 for a month on one screen, or £5.75 a month on the 12-month plan, paid once with nothing renewing; every plan and price is on the plans page. Before you pay, the free trial signs in to Smarters in exactly the same way, so you can test the app and the service together.
How to sign in to IPTV Smarters Pro

Open the app and add a user
On first launch Smarters goes straight to its sign-in options. If you have used it before, open the list of users and press Add user or the plus sign. Menu names vary a little between versions and devices.
Choose Login with Xtream Codes API
This is the option that uses a username, a password and a server address. It brings the live channels, the library and the TV guide in one go, so pick it over the playlist option whenever you can.
Fill in the four fields
Any name is a label for you, such as Lounge or Home. Username and Password go in exactly as we sent them, capital letters included. In the URL field, type the server address in full: http:// at the start, then the colon and the port number at the end.
Press Add user and let it load
Smarters now downloads the channel list, the film and series categories and the guide. With a line-up this size the first load takes a little while, so wait for the home screen rather than pressing the button again.
Open Live TV and test a channel you know
Pick a channel you watch every week and check the picture and the sound. If the guide shows no listings, use the option to load or refresh the EPG from the home screen or the settings, then give it a few minutes.
The full install on a Firestick, including the Downloader step, is in the IPTV Smarters Pro download and setup guide.
Using the M3U link instead
Smarters also accepts a playlist. Choose Load your playlist or file/URL, give the playlist a name, select the URL option and paste the M3U link from your login message. Avoid typing it by hand if you can: the link is long, and one wrong character breaks it.
The playlist route works, but the Xtream login is usually the better choice in Smarters, because it keeps films and series in their own sections and loads the guide and catch-up on its own. Keep the M3U link for players that only take a playlist.
Where IPTV Smarters Pro runs, and which version to install
| Device | Where the app comes from | Good to know |
|---|---|---|
| Fire TV Stick, 4K, 4K Max and Cube | Installed with the Downloader app, using the address we send with your login | Fire OS asks you to allow Downloader to install apps first |
| Android phones, tablets, Android TV and Google TV | The Google Play Store | Check the developer’s name before installing; lookalike apps exist |
| iPhone and iPad | The App Store, as Smarters Player Lite | The same Xtream sign-in; see Smarters Lite vs Pro for the differences |
| Windows PC | The developer’s own website | Avoid download mirrors; see IPTV Smarters Pro on Windows |
| Samsung and LG smart TVs | Availability varies by brand and model year | Most people use a player from the TV’s own store, covered in the smart TV guide |
One login, several devices: how screens are counted
You can sign in to Smarters on every device in the house with the same login. What the plan limits is how many streams play at the same moment: 1, 2, 3 or 5, depending on the plan. A one-screen plan on a Firestick, a phone and a laptop works perfectly well, as long as only one of them is playing.
Start a second stream on a one-screen plan and the extra stream will not play reliably, so count the rooms that watch together rather than the devices. If that number grows, you can add screens part way through a term and pay only the difference for the time left. Smarters can also hold more than one user, which helps if you keep a trial login and a paid one side by side.
Sign-in mistakes that stop Smarters loading
- A URL without http:// or without the port. Type the server address exactly as sent, colon and port number included.
- An address changed on the way in. https:// typed instead of http://, or a slash added at the end, is enough to fail. Use the format in your login message.
- Characters that look alike. A capital O and a zero, or a small l and the number 1, look the same in some fonts. Copy and paste where your device allows it.
- A space at the end of the username or password, often added by phone keyboards without you noticing.
- The M3U link in the URL field. The Xtream form needs only the server address; the long link belongs in the playlist option.
- An expired plan or a finished trial. When a term ends the login stops working, which looks exactly like a typing mistake.
- The wrong date and time on the device, which can stop the app connecting and throws the TV guide out.
If every detail is right and Smarters still will not load, the IPTV Smarters troubleshooting guide goes through crashes, empty lists and endless loading in order.
IPTV Smarters Pro or another player?
Smarters is a sensible default because it runs on almost everything and keeps live TV, films and series apart. On a Firestick or an Android TV box, many people prefer TiviMate for its TV guide, which works like the grid on a satellite box; it does not run on Apple devices or on Samsung and LG TVs. The same login works in both, so you can start with one and switch later without touching your plan. Installing TiviMate on a Firestick takes about the same few minutes.
IPTV Smarters Pro subscription questions
Does IPTV Smarters Pro come with channels?
No. IPTV Smarters Pro is an empty player until you sign in with a login from a TV service. Its developer makes the app and does not sell channels or playlists. Once you add our Xtream login, the app fills with 25,000+ live channels, 120,000+ films and series and the TV guide, all streamed from our servers rather than from the app itself.
Can I use the same login in Smarters and TiviMate?
Yes. The username, password and server address form a standard Xtream login, so they work in TiviMate, IPTV Smarters Pro and most other players. You can keep both installed and switch whenever you like. The only limit is the number of streams playing at the same time, which your plan sets, not how many apps hold the login.
Where do I find the server URL for IPTV Smarters Pro?
In the login message we send on WhatsApp, next to the username and password. Type it into the URL field exactly as written, starting with http:// and ending with the colon and the port number. Do not paste the long M3U link into that field: it belongs in the playlist option, which is a separate way of signing in.
Does catch-up work in IPTV Smarters Pro?
Yes, on the channels that keep an archive. Signed in with the Xtream login, Smarters has a catch-up section listing those channels, and you pick a programme that has already aired from the day's schedule. How far back you can go depends on the channel. The M3U playlist route usually does not give you catch-up in Smarters, which is one more reason to use the Xtream login.
Can I use an IPTV Smarters Pro subscription on an iPhone?
Yes. On iPhone and iPad the Smarters app in the App Store is called Smarters Player Lite, and it signs in with the same Xtream username, password and server address. Check the developer's name before installing, because lookalike apps exist. Smarters Lite vs Pro explains what differs between the two versions.
